A Community Loss in Hagerstown Honoring M I Patterson

A civic pillar M I Patterson, who arrived twelve years ago to aid the town, died leaving a void in Hagerstown and Washington county. He served with pick and shovel at the public school grounds and through generous gifts and leadership in City Park, playgrounds, the municipal band, Boy Scouts, Chamber of Commerce, and numerous charities. His sacrifice and dedication set a noble example for future generations, and the community asks who will volunteer to fill his space.
