Aged Man Dies After Struck by Train Near Thurmont
An elderly man named John Wolfe, 65, was struck by an eastbound Western Maryland passenger train while walking along a track west of Thurmont. He died three and a half hours later at Frederick City Hospital. He suffered a fractured skull and other injuries.
