Charlottesville Virginia May 25 says University of Virginia physiologist Dr Sydney William Britton would try cross-breeding apes with humans to advance scientific knowledge. He suggested such breeding could occur anywhere anytime and warned it might revive debates on slavery. He claimed no scientific barrier and said it's time to move beyond fruit flies.
