GUAM May 25 The 10th Army flanks Shuri on Okinawa as 7th Army troops push south of Yona bara. The 32nd Regiment advances to 1,800 yards south of the east coast seaport, and the 184th toward 1,590 yards southwest of the town. Maj. Gen. Arnold’s units keep the pace despite mud. 77th Infantry men push through a village near Shuri with light fire. Marines seize Asato village. 96th Infantry repels minor counter-attacks east of Shuri while fighting through rubble in Naha.
