Inquiry Ordered Into Duty On Quail
The Tariff Commission announced a new investigation of the duty on imported quail ordered at the instance of Maryland State Game Warden F Les LeCompte. LeCompte joined with other wardens to urge a lower duty so foreign birds can be brought to restock and states like Maryland Virginia and the Carolinas show strong interest in increasing imports.
