Delegate Kaylor Outlines State Legislature At Kiwanis Lunch
Omer T. Kaylor Jr. Republican delegate from Washington County spoke at the Kiwanis Club lunch about the 1952 20 day session. He argued lawmakers vote for tax cuts and appropriations, discussed veto overrides, state police budget shifts, and the teachers pay raise debate. He noted county interest in state bills was low and joked about Curl Byrd being ordered to leave the House.
