Distinguished state and federal officers will attend the State Armory next Tuesday evening May 27 for the inspection and muster of new Company B, 115th Infantry, Maryland National Guard. The company total stands at 29, five short of federal strength, as officials push to reach 185. Public invited to the 7:30 p.m. event. Brig. Gen. is to announce details.
Harry C. Rubl of the State Military Department will muster and inspect the unit for the state with a Second Army headquarters officer inspecting for the federal government. Officers expected include Col J R Hamilton Major Hawkins Tol L G Smith Lt Col Randolph Millhetland Major Howard Dickey and others. Former Co B officers and enlisted men will attend along with charter members of the new unit.

Harness meet planned as track remains in fine condition after heavy rains. Work on the new receiving barn foundation will start soon as the Racing Commission ordered. An all steel livestock judging arena is likely this summer for the annal Fair. Additional stables may be built on the Cast tract behind the Fair grounds. An option on the Groh tract expired due to high asking price. Directors believe the Cast tract will meet most needs.
Williamsport County Commissioner Joseph M. Hoffman collapsed at a downtown business establishment. Doctors reported a toxic condition as the cause and Hoffman was brought home after the fall with a facial cut. He was expected to remain in bed for several days and was reported improved by night.

Continued warning across Greece, Albania, Bulgaria and Yugoslavia urges neighborly relations, border restraint, and no support for overthrow of governments.
