Harry Brindle, a noted Hogaretown attorney and businessman, spent the day in Martinsburg handling real estate matters per the Martinsburg World. Rain improvements give farmers hope for large wheat and grass crops amid a busy rural Maryland district.
Edward Misse, living near Smitha nng, was struck by the Fast Mail near Chenaville while walking on the track. He escaped internal injury but suffered hip and shoulder bruises and possible fractures. He was taken to hospital with Dr. W. D. Campbell attending.
Hundred of women and children panicked when a lighted lamp was found on a stage during final exercises at Corpora Valley School. A blast followed. many workers and students fled as uniforms and equipment were displayed in a window. Auction notices and shop ads clutter the page.
