Washington May 12 A Senate committee chairman said the OPA will issue another subsidy order for the meat industry next week. If it meets packers and cattle feeders objections the order could clear the way for quick Senate action to expand the Price Control Act for another year beyond the June 30 expiration. Chairman Wagner of the Banking Committee said OPA officials had worked out a formula to settle the meat price controversy while he has delayed the extension measure in committee.

Explosives Scarred Ford Plant Resumes
COLOGNE May 12 The explosives scarred Ford plant here began assembling motor trucks for occupation forces under an American led revival. Operations were renewed by Supreme Headquarters May 4 with the first truck ready in May and output nearing ten daily. Lt Col Maurice Driscoll of Wintthrop MA said stock suffices for 100 trucks of 216 ton size and 90 percent of needed equipment is on hand to produce 3,000 vehicles.
