Three persons died when a small plane crashed on the Martin Wood farm three miles from New Lisbon Wisconsin on March 11 1940. The victims were Herman Underdahl Carl Ristow and Caroline Ristow eight. Doctor Ruxton Hanged for Gruesome English Murder

One $500 four per cent Electric Light Plant and Improvement bond due 1945 sold for 553 at public sale in front of the Court House this morning. The price is believed to set a new city-bond record. ten dollars interest is due July 1. Williamsport Bridge stock brought 50.50 a share, Potomac Edison preferred sold 109.50 to 111, defunct Hagerstown Moioy Co. accounts brought 50,000. Auctioneers were Fred M. White and J. C. Snyder.
