Man Fined For Speeding But Not For Passing Gates

Frank William Thompson, 20, of 100 block Willard Street, fined 80 dollars and costs for speeding over 30 mph limit. Magistrate W Warren Stultz noted belief in guilt on two counts but deemed the fine sufficient. Officer J E Snyder testified Thompson drove through lowered gates at 60 mph, then through Halfway. Thompson claimed gates were down due to two engines passing. Other fines: Raymond Paul Nine, 41, $10. Thomas Edward Krantz Jr., 25, $5 for traffic violations.
