Union carpenters in the Washington area win a 15 cent per hour wage increase affecting about 6 500 AFL carpenters. Killer Lynx Is Captured Alive Near McConnells

A wild lynx trapped near McConnells is kept alive in a large wire cage by Henry Ambrose, Woodmont club official. The animal, believed to prey on deer and fur-bearing wildlife, has shown no injury and can claw at the cage when approached.
