City Clerk E L Kerney announced revisions to the April tin can collection schedule to avoid confusion with the last day of March on a Wednesday and April first on a Thursday. Northeast section collects March 31, Northwest on April 1, Southeast on April 7, and Southwest on April 8.
Mor tis Zuckerman aged 91 and wena Fischer aged 80, residents of a home for the aged, began courting five months ago and applied for a marriage license. Zuckerman has eight children from two previous marriages while Fischer has three. No wedding date set yet.
An eight year old boy from the Elizabeth Street area was taken to the hospital for a dog bite. The bite occurred yesterday when a neighbor's dog bit Timmie Reed of the 390 block of Elizabeth Street. Police said the neighbor was told to keep the dog tied in the future.
Margaret McAlewese Shirley sues William Shirley for absolute divorce and alimony in Baltimore courts. She alleges his 1939 yacht ejection at Split Yugoslavia and claims their marriage began in Scotland and France before he abandoned her on the eve of World War II.
