The hospital rector delivered five infants in about ten minute intervals assisted by two physicians an anesthetist four graduate nurses and a student nurse. Dr Watson called the delivery normal requiring little anesthesia. Concert master Zarief of CBS declined comment on fatherhood.

A brief history and program followed with readings, solos, and a three-tier cake.
The Willing Workers class presents a three act comedy drama Mrs Tubbs of Shanty Town this evening at 8 00 in the Grace U B Church Sunday school room. Amateur Workshop Dramatic Club from St Pauls U B School performs with Mary A l sip as Mrs Tubbs and Louise Novinger as Clingie Vine. The cast includes Clarence Harbaugh Charles Barker and others with Anna Garrock directing Norman Reed in charge of staging and Roane children providing music between acts.
Frinedship Union church will host daily services April 2 through 8 tracing Christ’s last week with Scriptures from the four Gospels. Special music is planned Thursday and Friday by music director Mrs. H Weigel. Sunday school meets each Sunday at 4 pm. Pondsville Union church will hold Easter service Sunday April 9 at 7 30 pm.

A color film Life in Colonial Williamsburg loaned by Hastman Kodak formed the centerpiece of a school assembly at South Potomac Junior High on Monday. The program demonstrated how the admin library home economics art English history physical education music and visual arts departments could coordinate around a central theme. Phylis Rife opened in Colonial costume describing life in early Virginia.
A local event featured a Minuet performed by Helen Yates and others at the Tiano with LaRot Pearce. June Oliver reviewed Tidewater Virginia background books loaned from the Washington County Library and school libraries. A Colonial exhibit was opened by Section 83. NEW TROOP TO MEET Troop No. 9 of the Washington Area Council will meet at 7:30 p m Friday in the Scout room of St John’s Lutheran. C H Neff leads the reorganized troop and invites interested boys to attend.
20th Century Fox presents a screen version of Richard Tregaskin's Guadalcanal Diary starring Preston Foster Lloyd Nolan William Bendix Richard Conte and Anthony Quinn. The cast also features Richard Jaeckel Roy Roberts Minor Watson Ralph Byrd Lionel Stander Reed Hadley and John Archer in the Henry's Theatre engagement.
Evangelistic services will be held at Otterbein United Brethren Church at 7:30 PM nightly from April 3 to 9 led by Rev. Ira C. Weidner. A quarterly meeting Saturday April 1 features speaker Dr. W. Meadows of Chambersburg. Dr. J. Raymond Schmidt speaks Sunday April 2 at 7:30 PM. Public invited.
Representatives of Junior Christian Endeavor societies across the county plan to attend a Friday rally at the First Brethren Church. A talk by the Rev. is to be featured, offering an engaging address for attendees.
Lester H. Case, C. E. field secretary of this region, will speak at a 5:30 PM program starting with recreation and a cafeteria supper. Group singing precedes the Rev Case's address. parents urged to have Junior age boys and girls attend.
