CBS Reports On Developments In Color TV And FM Radio
Eastern Standard Time New York March 27 CBS released its annual stockholders report highlighting two major developments: color television in ultra high frequencies and widespread adoption of frequency modulation for audio. The network predicts color will improve picture quality on high frequencies and better operation over black and white on lower ones, while FM is expected to become the preferred audio service due to its superior transmission and reception. On air tonight NBC offers Rose Marie in Supper Club at 8:30 and other shows. CBS features Frank Sinatra and Andrews Sisters. ABC and MBS schedules include a mix of variety and drama programs.
