City Armory bids rejected after investigation

Bank to Change Name on April 1
The Commercial Trust Company will become the Fermers and Merchants Bank on April 1. On that date the entire assets including capital stock, deposits and surpluses of the Commercial will be liquidated and absorbed by the Fermers and Merchants Bank, and the latter’s capital stock increased by 120000 dollars. A unanimous affirmative vote changing the name was given by the stockholders of the Commercial Trust Company yesterday. The vote followed provisional guidance by the directors advising the asset transfer and revival under the new name.
