Mother saves child after water well accident

In Crystal Beach Maryland a three year old girl, Margaret Hansen, fell through a first floor hole and dropped into a 26 foot basement well. Her mother kept the child afloat until her father, Harry Kaufman, arrived to improvise a rescue device. The child was revived after surfacing. The incident occurred at the K aufmans new home northeast of Annapolis where a water access hole had been left for work.
