Stolen Car Used In Holdups In City
Police suspect a stolen car used in three Tuesday morning holdups was the vehicle reported stolen from Guy K. Angle of Big Springs. Angle’s car was found near North street last night bearing stolen West Virginia plates. Victims included Clayton Line, F. Brandenburg, and Ray Jacobs with cash, a check, and a wallet. One robber fired a shot over Jacobs head as they fled. Authorities believe the car may have been abandoned before the Jacobs incident. Meanwhile a separate report from Lincoln, England notes a mother and child seriously injured when their car was struck by a non exploding bomb bounced from an RAF trailer.
