Four Hancock Area Men Killed in Car-Tractor Crash
A truck driver could not avoid hitting a Chevrolet sedan carrying four Hancock area workers en route to Victor Producers Corp plant in Hagerstown. The impact left the car a wreck sixty feet from the crash, while the whiskey and cigarettes laden truck rolled 200 feet into a field. Dr. E W Ditte Jr. ruled accidental death. Fritz, with six children and relatives, is to be buried at Linninger funeral home in Mercersburg with services Monday at 2 p.m.
