At Hotel Alexander last night seven directors were elected to the Hagerstown Chamber of Commerce: Wallace Caum Elmer Eyerly Maxwell Greenwalt L Vinton Hershey William Schafer R Paul Smith and Hubert Stotelmyer. Arthur H Andrews former West Virginia Chamber secretary spoke and warned that rising government intrusion and population trends threaten local industry unless business groups organize regionally and act decisively.

Sweigert Held For Court Action In Delauter Murder Case
