Six American Airmen Die In South Viet Nam

Six U S airmen died in South Viet Nam during the weekend as guerrillas shot down a helicopter and a spotter plane northeast of Saigon. Four were aboard the helicopter hit by ground fire. two were aboard the spotter plane. The six deaths bring total American fatalities in Vietnam to 124. Names of the fallen include Capt Thomas Bergin of Schenectady and Ist Lt Richard Jaeck of Milwaukee, among others.
