Coops Wrecked By Afternoon Fire Near Hagerstown
Two chicken coops on the Harry Coss farm along the Leitersburg pike two miles north of Hagerstown were destroyed by a fire yesterday afternoon around 2:10. The Junior Fire Company confined the blaze. the hog pen also caught but was quickly extinguished. Several young and old chickens perished, while the residence remained safe thanks to winds.
