Mrs. Minnie Scott Felts widow of William E. Foltz was fatally struck in front of her Chambersburg home by a car driven by Dr. L. H. Seaton. Coroner A W Thrush believes death was instant from a broken neck. Seaton said he swerved to the left upon spotting the danger.

John Barnes aged 68 of Rawlings died in Allegany Hospital from injuries on March 3 after an auto collision. The death marks the fourth auto fatality in Allegany County this year.
