A 30 year old secretary identified by an FBI undercover agent as a Communist was barred from grand jury service in Pittsburgh. Judge Michael A Musmanno said the patriotism of a grand juror must be above reproach, calling this action the first of its kind in the U S. The woman did not admit to Communist ties but did not deny them.
