Coal man is arrested for bribery in Gunderman case
Thomas Courtney, a Connellsville coal operator, was arrested in Somerset on a warrant alleging an attempt to bribe jurors who convicted State Trooper Stacey Gunderman in the Monaghan death. Buckman confessed to part in the scheme. Courtney fainted at the office. bond set at 4,000 for Buckman. Courtney held for hearing.
