The defendant allegedly demanded the sum October 9, 1951, threatening civil action to coerce payment.

Scout Board of Review and Court of Honor Schedule

The Board of Review will be held March 7 at 4 00 p m at the scout office with all applicants due by March 5 at the scout office. The Court of Honor is on March 11 at St Johns Auditorium at 7 20 with many awards and pictures of the scout mobilization February 1. The forestry department sponsors a forest fire poster contest for the American Forestry Association medal and plaque, closing May 1. Information at the scout office or from the scoutmaster.

Skeleton of War Veteran Found in Farm Well

Bones pulled from an 18 foot well on George Wade’s farm near Burnside Schoolhouse were judged too old for investigation. Officers suggested Civil War soldier remains, while local mystic Punjab claimed ages from 200 to 10,000 years. Detectives Ingram Peters and Winters concluded the case.

Agreement cites 1980 stock payments default claim

A corporate agreement from 1980 allegedly obligated payments for stocks with a payment due last January unpaid. A letter from George C. Shriver, president, claimed funds were unavailable. Former president T Edward Hambleton was found dead in December 1939. verdict ruled death by own action.
