Four States Livestock Sales Inc auction reports higher prices for steers calves and lambs with steers up to 25.90 per hundred pounds and calves and lambs about two dollars above last week. Hog prices rose 50 to 75 cents per hundred. A note on stuffed eggs follows with seasoning tips.
The Opportunity Drive to sell bonds ends today as county officials estimate they may exceed the 470000 goal. Ellsworth Roulette says over 80 percent of the target was reached by last week, with a bank reporting nearly 50000 in new sales and Fairchild Aircraft Division expected to boost totals. Sales through mid July will count for the county, and banks remain ready to take further orders.
