Scouts partner with city authorities to stage a grand July 4 fireworks show at the Fairgrounds with expert firing by Mardaro Fireworks of Philadelphia. Cut Term On Theft Charges Given Cut Term
Jewel Redmond of near Gapland received a 16 month house of correction sentence from Magistrate W H Campbell in Brunswick after conviction for stealing a watch and chain from John Mc Golerick near Weverton on May 4. He eluded officers when the theft was found last month and was arrested Monday at a home near Burkitaville. He admitted the theft and said the jewelry was pawned in the city. The loot was recovered.
