Club to Aid New Drivers in Maryland Auto Club
Nervous motorists facing a state driving test in Maryland will get pre examination coaching from the Hagerstown branch of the Maryland Automobile Club. Raymond M. Peak, local supervisor, says tests will cover Maryland traffic laws and prepare drivers for the actual exam. Detour signs will be posted on repaired streets to help travelers navigate, and the club plans to recruit more members, with twelve new joins last week and a current goal of 450 members.

Dunlop Rubber Growth Questioned in Historic Prospect
The inquiry asks how Dunlop expanded to require rubber from 55,000,000 trees and whether success stems from more rubber and better cotton in tires or from the superior service of Dunlop dealers. The fragment hints at production factors behind the company’s prominence.
