Academy Award winner Heston seeks modern comedy role
Hollywood report says Oscar winner Charlton Heston cannot find satisfying work. He turned down eight epic offers and wants a modern comedy, noting Cary Grant often gets those parts. He passed on Lets Make Love opposite Marilyn Monroe, choosing a Broadway play that later flopped, while Bells Are Ringing with Judy Holliday and Dean Martin is praised as a bright release.
