Parachute Jumps At Airport Here Sunday

Hagerstown residents will witness the first professional parachute jumps since before the war at Municipal Airport Sunday afternoon. Woman Seized In Shore Slaying

Hancock native Murray lauded for radar controlled Fortresses feat

Lt Peter Ross Murray of Hancock received a personal commendation from Brig Gen Roger M Ramey of the AAF unit Operations Crossroads. Murray and Col R E Jarmon developed four robot controlled Flying Fortresses to penetrate the atomic blast cloud at Bikini Atoll tests, with Ramey calling Murray perhaps most responsible for the technical miracles.

Hospital Treats Accident Victims

Three patients were admitted to Washington County Hospital yesterday afternoon for treatment. Otto B Bussard of Route 2 Hag arstown broke his right leg after a fall from a scaffold and was discharged with a cast. Lawrence Myers of 351 Elizabeth Street was treated for a cut finger and discharged. Menzie Saunders of 209 West Bethel Street was examined and discharged after a dog bite on his left hand. The first Michigan state fist hatchery was built in 1873.

Maxey twins arrive as cousin births linked to Santa Ana family

In Santa Ana on June 18 Eugene R. Maxey and Marion welcomed twins, a boy and a girl. This week twin boys were born to Uncle William Maxey and his wife Jeanette at the same hospital, tying the families together as the Maxeys grow. A note adds a 30 foot banana plant known to be growing nearby.
