Washington June 25 The Interior Department may abandon the 22000 acre Maryland Catoctin National Park project as land owners in Frederick and Washington Counties refuse to sell. Only one large tract, Catoctin Manor about 3000 acres, plus a few small parcels, was optioned. The government has spent much on surveys and staff, with Thurmont headquarters.
