Zantzinger Acquitted Of 1st Degree Murder Yet Denied On Lesser Charges
A Maryland court heard highly technical testimony on Mrs. Carroll’s death after a February incident at the Emerson Hotel. Doctors described a fatal intracerebral hemorrhage linked to hypertensive heart disease and arteriosclerosis, noting a rapid blood pressure spike during alleged assault. The defense argued the stroke could have stemmed from preexisting conditions, while prosecutors asserted a causal link to the cane attack.

The agreement raises employment costs about 45 cents per man hour, with 50 percent of highly senior workers receiving a five year vacation cycle and an extra week of vacation for others. Hospitalization coverage rises to a year, sickness pay up, and basic life insurance gains 500 annually. Negotiations to formalize terms into contracts start next week, with signings anticipated shortly.
