New Addition To Hospital Will Be Dedicated
Governor Theodore R. McKeldin will address the dedication of the Washington County Hospital and Pangborn Hall on Thursday June 26 on the lawn in front of the hospital. A temporary speakers grand will be erected with seating for thousands and weather backup at Hagerstown High School auditorium. The program begins at 8 30 am and includes transfer of buildings to the board of trustees and community acknowledgments. Out of town officials and eminent medical men are expected. general tours are limited to invited guests only that day. Public viewing resumes the following week evenings from 7 to 9 pm with a commemorative tabloid supplement planned in the Morning Herald and Daily Mail.

The council is urged to approve extra cooling facilities after Albert Woods Associates favor a coal tower. Plans considered include upstream water pumping to the plant and return flow downstream. Lifelong Welch Run Church of the Brethren member and minister, farmer. Survived by wife Susanna, sister Mrs Clinton F Hykes, brothers Harry and Fred. Funeral Monday 2 pm at Welsh Run Church of the Brethren, Rev Clarence Huntsberger and Rev Russell Martin. Interment in adjoining cemetery. Flowers omitted.
