Madeline Webb Is Given Life In Murder Case
Madeline Webb a 28 year old Stillwater Oklahoma model was sentenced to life imprisonment for her part in the murder of Mrs Susan Flora Reich a wealthy Polish refugee. The judge imposed the sentence for the Hotel Sutton murder on March 4 Webb showed no emotion walking from the courtroom with haughty poise. Her lover Eli Shonbrun and John D Cullen were sentenced to die in the electric chair during the week of July 17 as the court did not recommend mercy for them.

Miss Camilla Boward, Clearspring school teacher and daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George C. Boward, is the only county woman to complete all Army tests for WAAC officer training. She passed two physical tests, an aptitude test, two interviews, and awaits potential selection among 66 of 120 finalists. If chosen, she will report to Fort Des Moines, Iowa, July 15 for officer training. Boward has taught ten years and holds degrees from University of Maryland Frostburg and Clearspring High School. Grant Sentenced For Shoplifting
