Hoopes Talks on Furniture Quality at Chicago Market
Hoopes president of Hrandt Cabinet Works spoke at the American Furniture Mart summer market in Chicago. He advised consumers to test tables for finish smoothness and panel rigidity by finger runs and pressure checks. He recommended about three and a half percent inch thick panels for better tables and to listen for hollow sounds to judge panel quality.
