The former Dr. Victor D. Miller home at 185 N. Washington St. undergoes a major refurbishment and opens Sunday June 15 from 4 to 6 p.m. as the Washington History Center. The Judiciary Committee of the Maryland Legislative Council approved repealing a 1985 law that barred premium ad rates for political notices in newspapers.
