Local Couple Wed In Annapolis

Mrs Elizabeth M Logue announces the marriage of her daughter Loretta Jane Logue to Mr Raymond J Kline Jr both of Hagerstown. The ceremony at St Martin's Lutheran Annapolis was performed by Rev John W Schaure Jr with Lt Comm C W Colbert and Mrs Colbert as attendants. The couple will honeymoon in Ocean City and reside at 862 Dewey Avenue. Mrs Kline formerly worked at Fairchild Aircraft and her husband is in engineering at the same plant.

Surprise Shower Honors Miss Zeigler at Guilford Avenue Home

A surprise miscellaneous shower for Miss Peesy Ann Zeigler, whose engagement to Capt. George E. Martin is announced, was hosted by Miss Bernice Ann Potfenberger Mrs. Max L. Edna Smith to Leave Stone Barn Home in Fountain Head

Miss Edna Smith plans to move from the Stone Barn on the Schindel farm after seventeen years. The Little couple will take over the barn while Miss Edna relocates to an apartment on North Potomac Street. The 1927 decision by Miss Edna and her sister Irene shaped the historic residence with added rooms, antique European furniture, and garden features now part of Miss Edna’s care and memory.
