Memorial services were held at AML Lena yesterday afternoon honoring the eleven soldiers buried there. Attending were G A R members and Ladies Auxiliary with Justa Thomas, Civil War veteran, singing solos. Captain George Li Fisher, Sharpsburg cemetery superintendent, spoke along with Rev. R R Zeigler who introduced Henry Holzapfel of Hagerstown. Holzapfel delivered an address urging respect for war veterans.
