Little Heiskell Weather Vane Finds New City Park Home
The historic wind vane that marked the wind for over a century in Hagerstown has been loaned to the Washington County Historical Society. Custodian duties and new quarters in the City Park Mansion House will allow the public to view the weather vane, a Civil War era artifact moved from City Hall and previously hidden behind locked floors.
