Lyric Club Concert Delights Hagerstown Audience
A capacity crowd attended the Lyric Club concert at St John’s Theater directed by Charles H. Roderick. Soloists included Mary Cosems, Mrs James Hendry, Mrs Edward Oswald Jr, Winifred Campbell, Virginia Stonebraker, and many others with notable pieces from Verdi Elgar and Rimsky Korsakov. The program featured four songs by the Lyric Club and concluded with Russian numbers and Indian Mountain Song. Accompanists were Mrs Umar Carryer and Roy A McMichael.
