Two Hancock Men Drown In Little Pool

Two Hancock men died in a small pool with water about 20 feet deep. Trooper Elmer Baum recovered one body. The deceased were George Seibert Stotler 44 and Donald Sparr Dickerhoff 37 both from Hancock. Both were painters and World War II veterans and members of American Legion Webster Harrison Post 28 and 26 respectively. Stotler survived by wife Mary Frances Dickerhoff Stotler and several children. Dickerhoff survived by wife Anna M. Stotler Dickerhoff and siblings. Services set at Grove Funeral Home Hancock with military graveside honors. Stotler buried in Bethel Methodist Cemetery Berkeley Springs and Stotler in River View Cemetery Hancock.
