City Tax Rate For 1929 Will Be About $1.15
Hagerstown voters will see a city tax rate of $1.45 per $100 for 1929, up 3 cents from 1928. The taxable basis will be just over $39,009,000, about half a million higher, to fund the new sewage system bonds and interest.
