Honorary Doctor Of Laws Degree To F D Schurz Sr

Franklin D. Schurz Sr president of The Herald Mail Co and of the South Bend Tribune will receive an honorary Doctor of Laws at commencement at St Marys College Notre Dame Indiana on June 5. Born in South Bend he earned an AB from Harvard in 1920 and Harvard Business School degree in 1921. He joined the South Bend Tribune in 1925 rising to editor and publisher in 1954. He heads Herald-Mail Co which owns the Tribune and WSRT. The Gemini Four mission launched from Cape Kennedy at 10:16 a.m. on June 9 aboard Titan II two stage rocket with 830 000 pounds thrust. Stepson Insane Who Killed Parents and Sister
