Suntan Safety Tips For Sun Lovers In Hagerstown
As pool season opens and sunny weather continues, residents are urged to suntan safely. Limit sun exposure to 15 minutes on the first day, add 5 to 10 minutes daily, avoid peak hours 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and use protective clothing and lotions. Water increases absorption, so stay cautious while swimming. Sunglasses protect eyes, and broad hat tips are advised for sun exposure safety.
