Jugtown Raid Seizes Applejack Stash Near Abe Kobler Place

Hepaties Cushwa and Goul of the Sheriff's office seized about twenty gallons of applejack from an old building near Abe Kobler Place in Jugtown. Officers chased a man seen leaving the scene as the liquor, stored in two ten gallon and one five gallon kegs, was discovered by a boy who alerted Mrs Kohler. The fleeing man disappeared into the woods during the chase. The liquor, believed to belong to known stills operators, was placed in the building to be moved by concealed means in Jugtown.
