Negro Attacker Narrowly Escapes Lynching in Pittsburgh

Chas Harris a 52 year old Black man from Nashville narrowly escaped mob violence after attacking Miss Agnes Hickley in her Beechwood Boulevard home in Squirrel Hill. He was captured an hour later and guarded at Franks town Avenue Police Station. Victim identified him and police seek links to other recent assaults in the area.

Child marriages debate in Britain may ban youths

London reports parliament considers a bill by C G Ammon to prohibit marriages under a certain age. Current ages stand 14 for males and 12 for females. Also a London Sessions case notes a waitress arraigned for theft with stolen slippers towel and articles found in her possession after thirty prior convictions.
