Lions Club Picnic For Members At Kraiss Club House
The Hagers town Lions Club held its annual picnic at the Kraiss Club House by the Potomac River. Members and guests enjoyed softball and croquet in the afternoon, then a cafeteria supper followed by contests for all ages. Match Results In Tied Score At Fountain Head
A women golf team from Fountain Head and eight players from Opequon Country Club Martinsburg tied after a return match at Fountain Head yesterday. Mrs Brooks Fiske shot 90 the lowest score with several in the nineties. Lunch followed in the main dining room with tables for four and floral centerpieces. After lunch some players golfed others bridged and some swam as the regular handicap tournament was scheduled for 1 15 pm today.
