Smithsburg Playground held a Fun Day on Monday July 16 with a morning scavenger hunt where Helen Bushey and Julianne Fishack won 26 points for the top total. Six runner up teams posted 16 points each. Afternoon featured a splash party at the municipal pool with several participants. Week projects included basket and pot holder weaving and plans for a July 25 Lions club showcase of children's singing dancing instruments and completed projects ending Friday July 27.
