Father admits killing daughter for insurance in Houston
A Texas man, E. H. Stuart, confessed to murdering his four year old daughter Dortha to obtain life insurance proceeds to support his surviving twin. He held Dortha underwater for three minutes then strangled her after a plan formed while buying shoes for both children. The body was found in Cypress Creek, seventeen miles north of Houston, with a 400 dollar policy uncovered.
